All too often, the Specialized Allez gets categorized as an entry-level road bike because of its aluminum frame; Sean’s build should help correct the mass misconception. We have equipped this Allez Race with Shimano Dura-Ace 11spd and a Zipp cockpit, so it is ready to rip and leave some carbon bikes in its dust.
This bike is effectively throwing a wrench in the “carbon = aluminum x 1000” equation. A forged head tube and hydroformed top and down tube make the bike is stiff and stable, without a huge compromise in the weight department. Here she is! Try to not drool on your keyboard.
Keep your eyes out for Sean and his new Allez on the local group rides; we have a feeling this bike will acquire miles very quickly.
